About this Site

It is a privilege to own these animals. Based on recent efforts by communities to ban the ownership of large constrictors, we should not take this privilege for granted. One of my main motivations for building this site is to contribute in some way to improving the care of the animals. Anything that increases responsible ownership will help ensure that we will all continue to enjoy the privilege of owning, trading, & selling boa constrictors.

I have many motivations for putting in the long hours it took/takes to build & maintain this site:

1. Educate people about these fascinating animals.

2. Improve the selection, husbandry, commerce, and shipping of these animals.

3. Show off my hard-earned collection.

4. Provide myself a means for selling surplus animals or offspring produced.

As of 7/30/10, this web site is composed of:

• 56,498 files arranged in 992 folders

• the files occupy 1463.4 MB of space
